So I recently saw this billboard around Oregon City and it make me say huh, or more appropriately WTF? Don’t bother doing a google search for some hidden commercial meaning or weird product placement because I already did and there aint nothing! So all I can think is there is some guy out there that paid good money to have this message posted for all driving down I205 to see. So of course the next question is why, what good does this do for anyone and the guy who paid to have it… for one it kinda made me sad, but for who?? At first I was sad for the guy who would pay to have this posted…. but then I started to feel for the wife who might be living with the worlds most passive aggressive person, or the most spineless, who knows…. I don’t know, the whole thing just really weirded me out and wanted to share the weirdness.
If you would do me a favor and post your backstory on why you think that this message was plastered on a huge billboard I would appreciate it!!
maybe this person doesn’t even have a wife or is in fact the wife in question. I think someone did it just to make people think. You think “why would someone put that on a bill board?” but then maybe it can lead you into thinking about deeper things… “wife” that’s someone, actually that’s the last person that should hate you. If your wife hates you what is wrong with your life?better yet, what is wrong with society and our desire to force ourselves into lives that just make us miserable and hateful?
One thing is for sure… His wife hates him because she hates herself.
why you think that this message was plastered on a huge billboard:
He doesn’t have a blog?

I couldn’t of said it better myself.
it’s pretty confusing.
Maybe the wife made the husband take it out as punishment for something he did. Another part of me thinks it’s part I of promotion for a play or movie… I feel like I saw something in NYC last week that was similar. Hmmmm, it certainly has us talking/thinking, doesn’t it?!
The true meaning behind that message is found here: http://www.bjdorr.com/20080407_196.
I have a story for you!

The billboard is an advertisement campaign for the Oregon Lottery.
I have the full story at www.bjdorr.com.
There is one down by Keizer that looks the same and says “Just let me be”
Thanks everyone for the comments! Well it looks like it is part of some Oregon Lottery Advertisment, but still very wierd and still has me thinking. The wife one reminds me of the joke:
”
A man runs home yelling to his wife:
- Pack your bags honey, I just won the $10 million lottery!
Wife:
- Do I pack for the beach or the mountains?
The husband replies:
- Who cares, just pack and get lost!
”
Still, a weird direction for the Oregon Lottery to take. That being said, it is the first time I have ever thought about a billboard, so it will be interesting to see what they do next.
